There is a big art event happening in Singapore this week that is worth checking out. The art scene in Asia, especially Singapore, has gotten more vibrant over the years. Art Stage Singapore, Asia’s new premier international art fair, is proof that Singapore is ready to be part of the global art market.
I went for the VIP preview at Marina Bay Sands today, thanks to Galerie Patrick Cramer. The fair opens to public from 13th-16th January. A day pass is $30 while a season pass is $60. Students and senior citizens enjoy a concession rate of $10. For more information, please visit www.artstagesingapore.com
Here are some of the art pieces I saw today that I really like... I will be going back this weekend to check out the art pieces again. If you like Japanese artists, you will be thrilled to see works by big names such as Takashi Murakami and Yoshitomo Nara.
