It is no secret that H&M will open in Singapore late this year. As a big fan of H&M, I was excited to be invited as a style blogger to check out its showroom prior to its grand opening in Singapore.
My love for H&M is a well-known fact among my friends and even got reported on CNN Go in November last year. Truly, it will be a bittersweet moment for me when H&M opens in Singapore.
I couldn't resist trying a lovely cropped jacket with embroidery (details not visible here but do check out the next blog entry about my top picks from H&M Fall/Winter collection).
The Fall/Winter 2011 collection is inspired by Carnaby Street in the 70s. Expect Liberty-inspired prints, Halston-style silhouettes, Biba-inspired styling and psychedelic acid hues. If you are wondering what the orange boxes are, they are actually press kits.
Love the floppy felt hat with 70s flower power print skirt, teamed with a leather satchel. Check out the high-waist pants and skinny belt too!
Love the colour palette of moss green, mustard yellow, leather brown and the shades of blues.

The cover of the press booklets are prints taken from fabrics in the collection. Love the attention to details.
